Animal Instincts wins 20th award (23/12/2008):

Over the last few months we have been constantly surprised as Animal Instincts continues to pick up awards in film festivals. It's now reached another milestone, winning it 20th award by taking out 'Best Animated Film' at the Victorian Independent Film Festival. It has now screened in 40 film festivals all over the world, including Japan, Russia, England, South Africa, Brazil, Canada, USA, New Zealand and of course Australia. The film has proven to be a crowd favourite the across the globe, winning numerous audience choice awards. It's simple plot with no dialog and plenty of comical gags has worked a charm, getting it screened in many non-english speaking countries, with the humour able to transcend all cultural and language barriers. The range of awards we've recieved are very encouraging for us as film makers. They confirm that Animal Instincts is a solid film in technical areas such as animation, sound and special effects as well as being a great story. At the end of the day, we're just happy so many people are able to see our film on the big screen through these festivals.
